Tim McGraw, Faith Hill Hit With Copyright Lawsuit Over Song


Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are facing a lawsuit from two songwriters who allege they lifted their current single, “The Rest of Our Life,” from a song that scored a hit in Australia in 2016.

Songwriters Sean Carey and Beau Golden filed a lawsuit in New York federal court on Wednesday (Jan. 10), alleging “The Rest of Our Life” is “blatant copying” of their 2014 song, “When I Found You,” which was a hit when Jasmine Rae released it via ABC Records, according to the Hollywood Reporter. read more at tasteofcountry.com
